The Black Hole Army has reformed and is experimenting with a bio-chemical weapon known as Oozium. The Orange Army and its allies return to stop this menace to Omega Land.
The touch screen is used to control your troops on the ground. Defeat the enemy armies by wiping them out or capturing their base. Your units include ground units, tanks, recon vehicles, ships and aircraft. Each unit has strengths and weaknesses, and their location can also help or hinder your defences.
You can also play against a friend in local wireless multiplayer, or team up against a computer controlled opponent.

If you turn on the game with a copy of Advance Wars or Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising in the Game Boy Advance slot of the DS, new maps and wallpapers will be available to buy from Haachi's shop.
