A new species of cattle is bred in Japan to solve world food shortages. When the cattle turns on its creators, the species is named "Ruffians" and the Armed Volunteers appear to stop them, oppressing the Japanese people in the process. The Savior Group appears to fight back against the dual terrors.
As Saki Amamiya, a half-human, half-Ruffian hybrid, and his co-Savior Airan Jo, run and gun your way through swarms of Ruffians and the troops of the Armed Volunteers. Sidestep or jump to avoid enemy fire as you run between checkpoints. You switch between characters as you progress through the story, and as Saki struggles to control his Ruffian side.
