Peach's Castle

A collection of floating platforms above Peach's castle. The stage is based on various areas from Super Mario 64, including sliding platforms, a tower from Peach's castle, a chequered floor and broken bridges.

Congo Jungle

Set on a wooden boardwalk with moving platforms above the Kongo Jungle at sunset. A Barrel Cannon moves back and forth under the stage and falling players can try and get into it to return to the stage.

Hyrule Castle

Hyrule Castle

Set on the rooftop of Hyrule Castle as it appears in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The whirlwinds that appear may be a reference to the whirlwinds created by the Flute in The Legend of Zelda on NES.


Planet Zebes

Planet Zebes

Set in the rocky, underground lair from Metroid and Super Metroid, with an organic alien structure and rising acid that engulfs the stage.

Yoshi's Island

Yoshi's Island

Heavily based on Yoshi's Story, Yoshi's stage appears as a giant storybook with the Super Happy Tree in the back. Cloud platforms appear on both sides and disappear if stood on for too long.

Dream Land

Dream Land

A simple stage with a flat base and three floating platforms from the Kirby series. Whispy Woods appears and blows wind, pushing players towards the edge.

Sector Z

Sector Z

Based on Sector Z from Star Fox 64. Missiles and broken debris fly around in the background while the battle takes place on the spine of the Great Fox. Arwings occasionally fly down and take pot-shots at the players.

Saffron City

Saffron City

Set on the rooftop of the Silph Co. building in Saffron City. There are three buildings and several moving platforms on the left. A doorway on the right opens and various Pokémon pop out and attack:

Unlockable

Mushroom Kingdom

Mushroom Kingdom

Based on Super Mario Bros., with blocks, pipes, a balance platform and using the original sprites and music. You can use the pipes to travel across the stage, but Piranha Plants pop out. A POW block (from the arcade Mario Bros.) appears and, if hit, causes all players on the ground to bounce into the sky.

Clear the 1P Mode with all 8 starting characters and play on every VS. Mode stage at least once.
