Bowser and Bowser Jr. have sucked all of the Mini Stars in the sky through a vortex. Mario and friends set off to restore them all.
Unlike previous entries, all players travel around the board together as each player rolls the dice. Minigames are triggered by certain spaces on the board, rather than at the end of all four turns.
There are 82 new minigames and each board comes with mini-boss and boss battles.
