Following the first price cut to the Nintendo 3DS system, Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program. This entitled all system owners who paid full price prior to 11th August 2011, and who had registered on the eShop, to 10 free NES games and 10 free Game Boy Advance games. The game selection was identical worldwide.
Once NES titles became available on the eShop, these downloads could be upgraded for free with full Virtual Console functionality. The Game Boy Advance games are exclusive to this program. GBA titles do not feature Restore Points, and the system can't be put into Sleep Mode.
