Based on the Hamtaro series, you play as Hamtaro who has been sent out by Boss to return all of the Ham-Hams to the clubhouse. However, many won't return until you help them out.
Using Ham-Chat, the language of the hamsters, Hamtaro can talk to the Ham-Hams, gather clues and perform certain actions. As you progress, you will learn more Ham-Chat words.
Collect sunflower seeds to purchase items from shopkeepers, and play minigames.
