King K. Rool has stolen some precious medallions from the Kongs and escaped across the jungle. Donkey Kong would usually go and help, but he can't climb to the precarious jungle high ground - until Cranky and Wrinkly Kong teach him how to swing.
This game is controlled exclusively with the L and R button. They cause DK to grab with the corresponding hand, allowing you to grasp the pegs you see as you climb. DK can swing clockwise or anti-clockwise around a peg, or grab two to remain stationary and charge up for an attack. Using these moves you have to work your way around the stages collecting bananas and finding all of the gold medals.

Collect all 24 medals to unlock Diddy Mode, then collect all 24 medals in Diddy Mode as well. Doing this will unlock a secret character in Jungle Jam Mode: Bubbles from Clu Clu Land?
Bubbles appears as her original 8-bit sprite, sticking out each arm and attacking with her Sonic Wave.
