Donkey Konga 2

Donkey Konga 2
System GameCube
Developer Namco
Genre Rhythm-Action
Series Donkey Kong Series

Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong get into an argument about their drumming skills when Dixie Kong arrives to show off her own amazing bongo skills. Cranky Kong decides it's time to send the Kongs on tour.

Hit the drums or clap as the icons pass over the cursor on screen. The more accurate you are, the more points you accumulate.

As well as the main game, play to your own rhythm in Freestyle Plaza, work together on a single set of Bongos in Concert Mode, or connect up to four sets of Bongos for the multiplayer Jam Sessions or Battle Mode.

As in the first Donkey Konga, several of the songs in the Japanese and European versions are taken from Nintendo games. For some reason, the U.S. version contains no videogame-related music.

Badges

Screenshot Required

Rather than sign your initials when you get a good score, you choose a character badge. As well as characters from the Donkey Kong series, you can also get badges from other Nintendo series as well:

These characters may also appear in the Roulette during a Battle game.
