This expanded edition of Clu Clu Land for the Famicom Disk System is a port of the arcade version VS. Clu Clu Land. This was also the last game Nintendo published for the Disk System.
The game includes a number of new features, including a choice of Beginner and Expert modes, new images to uncover, and the arrival of the Boss Unira when you defeat many of the smaller Unira.
In Japan, Nintendo has released this version on the Virtual Console service over the original Famicom version. This was also available in Animal Crossing, where it was given the name Clu Clu Land D in the U.S. and Europe.
