Famicom Disk System port of arcade game, Konami's Ping Pong.
You control a paddle hand, hitting the ball over the net, off the table and past the opponent to score. Hit the ball hard or scoop it over the net. The first player to break 10 points is declared the winner of that match.
There are two different game modes with different numbers of sets to play to win the match. Both modes can be played against the computer or a second player.
Cameos
Diskun
The Famicom Disk System mascot, Diskun, appears on the title screen where he is knocked out with a bouncing Ping Pong ball. He also appears in front of the winning player during the game, dancing and waving his paddle around.
Diskun replaces Pentaro, a Konami mascot penguin who debuted in Antarctic Adventure who also appeared in the arcade games.
Donkey Kong Jr.
The spectators are all identical-looking people with one exception: rooting for Player 1 is Donkey Kong Jr. from the Donkey Kong series.
As with Diskun, Donkey Kong Jr. is replacing another appearance of Pentaro who appeared in the arcade game.
