Delfino Plaza
Set on a platform flying around Delfino Plaza from Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube). The platform drops the fighters off at various landmarks around the plaza.
Mushroomy Kingdom
A desert recreation of either World 1-1 or World 1-2 from Super Mario Bros. (NES). The stages auto-scroll from left to right. The ? Blocks drop items when hit. When the stages reach the end, they loop back to the start.
Mario Circuit
Set on the Mario Circuit track from Mario Kart DS (DS). The karts going round the track are driven by a bunch of Shy Guys.
Yoshi's Island
A simple, crayon-drawn stage based on Yoshi's Island (SNES). The stage cycles through the four seasons. The default 'Obstacle Course' music track will switch between two seasonal variants.
WarioWare, Inc.
A simple set of platforms based on the elevator stages in WarioWare, Inc. (GBA). Every once in a while, the stage jumps into a microgame, and the players must react quickly. Players who follow the instructions and pass are rewarded with power-ups.
Luigi's Mansion
Set in a miniature version of Luigi's Mansion (Gamecube). Each part of the stage can be broken by the fighting. If all four parts are broken, the whole mansion crashes down.

Mario Bros.
Based on Mario Bros. (Arcade). Fighters must be thrown off the sides or top. Shellcreepers and Sidesteppers come out of the pipes and damage anyone they walk into. The POW Block can be hit to cause a massive earthquake.

Yoshi's Island (Melee)
Based on the overworld levels from Super Mario World (SNES). The yellow blocks will flip if hit, removing them as platforms. Fishing Lakitu and Banzai Bill can be seen in the background.

Rainbow Cruise (Melee)
Set on the flying ship from the Rainbow Ride stage in Super Mario 64 (N64). After a while, the ship sinks and the players must fight on a series of floating, moving and falling platforms as the screen scrolls, eventually dropping them back on the ship again.

Rumble Falls
A vertically-scrolling stage based on Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat (Gamecube). Ladders, switches and platforms that drop you through make up the lower part. As the stage gets higher, players must compete for platforms as they move from a biplane and onto a beanstalk reaching into the sky.

Based on the third level of Donkey Kong (Arcade). The stage is made up of small platforms, moving elevators and ladders. Fireballs move around as hazards and the sprite of Donkey Kong will occasionally move forward and send a bunch of Jacks hurtling across the stage.

Jungle Japes (Melee)
Set on a wooden jetty over a rushing river in the DK Jungle from Donkey Kong Country (SNES). On the central platform, you can see Cranky Kong walking around in his laboratory from Donkey Kong 64 (N64). Klaptraps are washed down the river, occasionally dragging players with them.

Bridge of Eldin
Set on the Bridge of Eldin from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Gamecube/Wii). The stage is long and flat, but when King Bulblin and Lord Bullbo ride across the stage, they blow a section of the bridge away, leaving two short platforms on each side. The missing part reappears after a while.
Pirate Ship
Set on a pirate ship on the Great Sea from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Gamecube). The ship moves slowly from right to left, and features a small catapult that fires players into the water. The ship may also be bombed by Bokoblins, crash into rocks and sink and be whisked into the sky by a whirlwind. The King of Red Dragons occasionally follows behind as a temporary platform.

Temple (Melee)
A large temple on a floating island, loosely based on the temples from The Legend of Zelda series.
This stage originally featured in Super Smash Bros. Melee (Gamecube).
Norfair
Set in the Norfair lava area of Planet Zebes from Metroid (NES). The five platforms are occasionally washed over by waves or bulging walls of lava, forcing players to move. If a doorway appears, players must get inside before the whole stage floods with lava.
Frigate Orpheon
Set in the ruins of the Frigate Orpheon from Metroid Prime. The platforms constantly change position, and occasionally the whole stage will flip based on the actions of the Queen Parasite in the background.
Brinstar (Melee)
Set in the caves of Brinstar on the Planet Zebes from Metroid (NES). The various platforms are held together with biological parts that snap apart if they are attacked. The stage may also occasionally flood with acid from the lake below.

Halberd
Set on Meta Knight's battleship Halberd from Kirby Super Star (SNES). The players start on a floating platform launched from a docking bay as the Halberd takes off and soars overhead. The platform settles on the deck and the Halberd's Combo Cannon fires bombs, lasers and uses its grappling arm to attack the players.
Green Greens (Melee)
Set on floating platforms loosely based on Kirby's Dream Land (GB). Whispy Woods appears in the center, blowing wind and dropping apples. The gaps in the stage are filled with Star and Bomb Blocks that fall from the sky.

Lylat Cruise
Set on the back of the starship Pleiades as it soars through the Lylat System. The ship, as well as the locations, aren't from any particular Star Fox game. The ship will warp to different locations, including in the middle of a space battle, through an asteroid field and over the surface of a blue planet.
Corneria (Melee)
Set on the spine of the Great Fox as it flies over the planet Corneria from Star Fox 64 (N64). Arwings and Wolfens fly down and shoot at the players from time to time.

Pokémon Stadium 2
A simple, flat stadium that transforms to represent one of four Pokémon types: Electric, Ice, Ground and Flying. Each of the stage types creates new platforms and hazards that change the battle.
Spear Pillar
Set on Spear Pillar where Dialga and Palkia are fought in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. There is a flat platform on top and a cave underneath. Dialga, Palkia and Cresselia will appear in the background and use their legendary abilities to change the stage in different ways.

Port Town Aero Dive
Set on a moving platform that travels around the Port Town Aero Dive track from F-Zero GX (Gamecube). When the platform drops you off, you may have to dodge the F-Zero Racers as they come rushing past.
Big Blue (Melee)
A scrolling stage set on the backs of F-Zero Racers, the Falcon Flyer and other flying platforms as they race over the Big Blue stage from F-Zero X (N64).

New Pork City
Porky's giant flying metropolis from Mother 3 (GBA). The stage is made up of many smaller platforms. A flying limosine appears and creates a temporary platform. The Ultimate Chimera may also appear, and if it catches a player then they are almost guaranteed to be knocked off the screen.
Onett (Melee)
Set on the rooftops of Ness's home town in EarthBound (SNES). The awnings of the Drug Store may collapse, dropping players into the road, and cars drive past occasionally, causing damage to anyone on the ground at the time. This stage originally featured in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Castle Siege
Starting on the rooftop of a castle under siege, the stage then transports players inside to a pair of destructable statues holding platforms. After a while longer, the players are transported again into a lava-filled cave beneath the earth. The locations are not from a particular Fire Emblem game, but are reminiscent of a number of recurring areas from throughout the series.
Skyworld
Set outside of Palutena's sky palace from Kid Icarus (NES). The stone ground breaks when attacked and the clouds underneath don't make for reliable platforms.
Distant Planet
A small stage set on the planet of the Pikmin. A series of small vines and leaves make up the platforms, while the slanted platform on the right floods when it rains. A huge Bulborb appears on the right, enticing players into its mouth before snapping shut and pulling them off screen. Flowers and Onions also appear and can be attacked.
Smashville
Set on a floating platform above a typical Animal Crossing village. The simple stage changes appearance based on the system's internal clock, so different characters appear in the background. If you play the game at 8pm on a Saturday, K.K. Slider appears and sings one of his songs for you.
Summit
A snowy mountain summit consisting of several small platforms based on Ice Climber (NES). The mountain summit eventually cracks and breaks off, sliding down the side of the mountain and crashing into the ocean. There, a Polar Bear stomps the stage further into the water, where the giant fish from Balloon Fight (NES) lives. If it catches you, it will pull you under the sea.
PictoChat
A stage set inside of PictoChat, the chat program for the Nintendo DS. The message box acts as the platform, while drawings create new platforms and hazards on the stage. The message box shows who enters and leaves the stage.
Hanenbow
A stage based on Hanenbow from Electroplankton (DS). The flat leaves act as the platforms, and can be hit to change the direction they point. There is no music on this stage; instead the Hanenbow bounce off the leaves to create the music.

Shadow Moses Island
A stage set outside of a hangar on Shadow Moses Island from Metal Gear Solid (PlayStation). The towers on the right and left prevent players from being thrown out, but they can be broken down with repeated attacks. The hangar occasionally breaks open, revealing Metal Gear Rex, Metal Gear Ray or the Gekkos.
Green Hill Zone
A stage set on a segment of the Green Hill Zone from Sonic The Hedgehog (Genesis). The ground can be broken away with repeated attacks, and the Lamppost can be set spinning, hurting anyone it hits. In the background, Tails, Knuckles and Silver can be seen running through the loop.
