Head Thwomp

In Oracle of Ages, one of the bosses is a large stone head named "Head Thwomp", named after the stone head enemies from the Super Mario series.

Donkey Kong

If you clear The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and use the password in Oracle of Ages, the boss of the Black Tower is changed into a tower challenge. Link has to climb up while jumping over fireballs that roll down. At the top of the tower, you rescue Zelda.

This section appears to have been inspired by the arcade Donkey Kong.

Mr. Left

In Oracle of Seasons, head to south-east Horon Village and enter the house with a shed and a small lake. Inside you will meet Mr. Left who wants you to light the torches in his house for him.

Mr. Left is based on Dr. Wright, the mayor's assistant in the SNES version of SimCity.
