During the game you can unlock the Namco NES port of their arcade shooter Xevious by collecting all of the silver medals.

In the Japanese version, you can also unlock Battle City by collecting all of the bronze medals, and Star Luster by collecting all of the gold medals.

Dolphin Advert

On the Corneria stage, there are several holo-ads with the word "Dolphin" on.

Dolphin was the working title for the GameCube, and many games referenced the name.

Solvalou Crew

On the Corneria stage there is a building advertising a film called "The End of Katina" with credits for "The Solvalou Crew".

Solvalou is the name of the ship in Namco's Xevious.

ROB64

The Star Fox team's robot, ROB64, has the letters "NUS" emblazoned on it. NUS was the serial code for all Nintendo 64 hardware. It stands for "Nintendo Ultra Sixty-four", the working title for the system.

Rally-X Flags

The special flags you can find in the game are the same design as flags that have appeared throughout other Namco games, including Rally-X, Xevious and Gaplus.
