Diskun
The Famicom Disk System mascot, Diskun, appears on the title screen where he is knocked out with a bouncing Ping Pong ball. He also appears in front of the winning player during the game, dancing and waving his paddle around.
In the original Konami arcade version, Diskun's role was taken by Pentaro, Konami's penguin mascot.

Donkey Kong Jr.
The spectators are all identical-looking people with one exception: rooting for Player 1 on the right of the screen is Donkey Kong Jr.
In the original Konami arcade version, Donkey Kong Jr.'s role was once again taken by Konami's Pentaro.
