Banjo and Conker

The characters Banjo and Conker had both been shown as the main characters in upcoming Nintendo 64 games prior to Diddy Kong Racing being revealed. However, Diddy Kong Racing was released very quickly and beat both games to market. Officially Banjo and Conker both debuted in Diddy Kong Racing.

Banjo would go on to star in Banjo-Kazooie in 1998. Conker's game was delayed and eventually reworked into Conker's Bad Fur Day in 2001.

Killer Instinct Logo

On the Future Fun Land course, Star City, one of the tall buildings has a large Killer Instinct "KI" logo on the side.

It's almost impossible to see this if you're playing the course normally in a car. If you drive in reverse or play the course in a plane, it's easier to find.

This may have been removed from some later revisions of the game.
