Donkey Kong 64
Nintendo 64 Cameos
Cameo Title
At the very start of the game, look around DK's cabin to see bits and pieces from his previous adventures, including girders from Donkey Kong arcade, and the gramophone and stereo from the opening of Donkey Kong Country.
On one wall is a picture of a dolphin. This is one of the earliest references to "Dolphin" – the working title of the Nintendo GameCube

Classic Game Challenges
Donkey Kong Arcade
In the Frantic Factory stage, head into the testing area. You will find a classic Donkey Kong arcade machine from 1981. If DK has learned how to pull switches then you can play the full original game.
Beat it once for a Golden Banana, then beat it again on a higher difficulty to earn the Nintendo Coin.
Jetpac (ZX Spectrum)
Once you've collected 15 Banana Medals, Cranky will give you a chance to win a Rare Coin. You must play Rare's very first game, Jetpac.
Jetpac was released on the British microcomputer the ZX Spectrum in 1983.

While they appear throughout this game as a common collectable item, the Crystal Coconut first appeared as a legendary object in the Donkey Kong Country animated series.
