Wild Gunman Guide Game B: 2 Outlaws
How to Play
In each wave, two gunmen walk onto the screen. The gunmen will shout "FIRE!". Shoot them both before they shoot you to win the wave. If they shoot you, you lose the wave.
- The shot time for both gunmen is shown at the top of the screen.
- Aim at the left or right half of the TV to hit the correct gunman.
- If you are the fastest shot, "YOU WIN!!" is displayed. You receive bonus points based on your shot time, plus the reward money (see scoring).
- If either gunman is the fastest shot, "YOU LOSE!!" is displayed. You lose a life and will not receive bonus points or reward money for either gunman.
- Sometimes one of the gunmen will not shout "FIRE!" If you shoot them, this counts as a foul and you will not receive bonus points or reward money for either gunman.
- The game is over when you lose 3 times.
- The default high score is 12000 points.
Techniques
- Generally shoot the fastest gunman first. However, for the first few waves you can safely shoot the slower gunman first to rack up some bonus points.
- The gunmen who do not say "FIRE!" are always the same in every game. Learn the pattern to avoid fouls.
Scoring
Reward Money
If you shoot the gunman first, you receive their reward. This is converted to points and added to your score.
- The reward for each gunman is shown at the bottom of the screen.
- Each type of gunman has a range of rewards.
- If you miss or foul against either gunman, you lose out on the reward for both.
Bonus! Your Shot Time vs. Gunman Shot Time
You receive a 1000 point bonus for every one-tenth of a second that your shot time is faster than the gunman's shot time.
- You get this bonus for each gunman.
- If you miss or foul against either gunman, you lose out on the bonus for both.
- The last digit in your shot time doesn't matter. A shot time of 0.50 scores the same as 0.59.
- The bonus is added to your score before the reward money.
Waves 1 to 7
Waves 1 to 7 are scripted. The gunmen, shot times and reward money will be the same every time you play.

Wave 30 and Over
From Wave 30, the gunmen you face will repeat in the same order as Waves 15 through 29. The gunmen who do not shout "FIRE!" will also be the same.
Reward Money
The Reward Money from Wave 30 onwards is selected randomly from a bank of up to 10 values for each gunman.
