A Nintendo 64 port of Killer Instinct 2. Aside from a few graphical downgrades and the loss of some alternate endings, the gameplay remains faithful to the arcade version.

Killer Instinct Gold, along with Cruis'n USA, was one of the first games to be shown running on Nintendo 64 hardware.

One of the characters is a blue wolf creature named Sabrewulf. He is named after the villain of one of Rare's earliest games, Sabrewulf.
