Pokémon Mini

Announced and released in 2001, the Pokémon Mini was one of Nintendo's more unusual attempts at hardware. The system itself was tiny, with a built-in tilt sensor, shock feedback, simple button controls and other little gadgets. What's more, it was to be home to no more than ten Pokémon games, with four released in the United States and five in Europe.

The system sold better than most expected it to, mostly thanks to the Pokémon branding, but it wasn't a resounding success.
