You play as a young boy who has taken a train to Kuzunoki Village to stay with his grandfather during his summer vacation. The boy befriends a young girl in the village and the two of them go on adventures in the mysterious forest near his grandfather's home.
The game plays out as a graphical text adventure, with the action carried out through text menus with illustrated scenes.
