Hogan's Alley Guide Game C: Trick Shot

How to Play

Cans fly onto the screen from the right. Use the Zapper to shoot the can so it flies through the air and lands on one of the platforms.

  • You have unlimited shots.
  • Five cans appear in each Round.

Scoring

  • You score 100 points each time you shoot a can.
  • There are three platforms on the left, worth 300 points, 800 points and 5000 points. Land a can on a platform to earn that many points.
  • Land a can on the safety platform at the bottom to earn 100 points.

Progression

As you progress through the Rounds, the speed of the cans increases.

  • Clear Round 5 to get the "SHARPSHOOTER" message.
  • Clear Round 10 to get the "SUPER SHARPSHOOTER" message. You then get this message after every 5 Rounds.

Miss

  • If a can falls off the bottom of the screen, you get a "MISS!"
  • If you miss 10 times, the game ends.

Advice

  • Get a good feel for how the cans behave when you shoot them. That way you can predict where they will go.
  • Don't be afraid to shoot the cans close to the bottom of the screen. This is a good way to clear the safety platform and hit the highest scoring platform.
  • Beware of rebounds. These can cause trouble if you have to switch your aim to opposite sides of the screen.
  • If you get a good rebound spot, you can use it to rack up 100 Points for every hit.
Trick Shot
