Unlockables

How to get the different endings

Clear the game within a set amount of time and you will receive one of five different endings.

Over 10 Hours	Over 10 Hours	Samus cries into her arm.
Under 10 Hours	Under 10 Hours	Samus raises her arm in victory.
Under 5 Hours	Under 5 Hours	Samus removes her helmet.
Under 3 Hours	Under 3 Hours	Samus removes her suit (Leotard Samus)
Under 1 Hour	Under 2 Hours	Samus removes her suit (Bikini Samus)

If you are playing the game as Leotard Samus, playing for over 5 hours will also result in the worst ending.

Unlock Leotard Samus

Clear the game in under 3 hours to receive the 'Leotard Samus' ending (or better). Start a new game and Samus will be wearing just her Leotard.

Codes

Quick Save

At any time during the game, press START to pause, then press Up + A on Controller 2. This will give you your current password before returning to the title screen.

Debug Mode Password

On the Password entry screen, enter the following password:

This secret debug password will give Samus infinite health and missiles, the Ice Beam, and every power-up (not counting Energy and Missile Tanks). Samus's health will always stay between 30-39 and the number of missiles will never drop lower than 5.
