- はなす (Talk) → てんぐ (Tengu)
Hikari agrees to give him the telescope if he tells her where the bronze bell is being held. He doesn't want to say for fear of angering the Oni, but lets slip that it's in the back room.
- わたす (Give) → とおめがね (Telescope)
To thank her for giving him the telescope, the Tengu offers to give Hikari a bag of ash containing the remains of an invisibility cloak he burnt up by mistake. However, he got it mixed up with a bag of ash he stole from a flower-blooming old man. Hikari must choose which bag to take.

- つかう (Use) → ばくだん (Bomb)
- いどう (Move) → にげる (Escape) – select quickly
Donbe escapes and the fortress explodes, crumbling to the ground.

Taking the bronze bell for safekeeping, the Tengu flies away.
