Deep down on the ocean floor is the bizarre kingdom of Clu Clu Land. The inhabitants of this kingdom are a mix of strange bubble fish and thieving urchins. One day, the urchins stole all of the treasure from Clu Clu Land and buried it among the fields of Turning Posts, where their black hole homes could be found.
Enter Bubbles, the hero of Clu Clu Land. Bubbles is one of the bubble fish, and travels by paddling quickly in one direction. Being unable to turn of her own accord, Bubbles has to stick out her arms to grab the Turning Posts. Spinning round-and-round allows Bubbles to choose her direction. Travelling between the posts, Bubbles was able to uncover the treasure and move on to the next field.
To defend their evil deeds, the Urchins gave chase to Bubbles. If one caught her, Bubbles would pop. Using her supersonic voice, Bubbles was able to stun the Urchins and push them into walls. At the end of her adventure, Bubbles also had to face the massive King Urchin. Victorious, Bubbles returned all the treasure of Clu Clu Land to the bubble fish.
